Downtown Marina is constantly looking to improve the client experience as they head out on Okanagan Lake. Whether you’re a thrill seeker looking for tournament-quality wakeboard rentals, or you simply want to cruise the shoreline, having the right boat is important. To keep up with client demands, we have revamped our fleet for the 2016 season.

New this year is a trio of high-performance, tournament-quality towboats, each with its own unique qualities in terms of:

  • Seating capacity
  • Performance and handling
  • Style
  • Features

Super Air Nautique 210 and 230

Downtown Marina received so many positive reviews for their Super Air Nautique G21 (the G Series is the company’s top-of-the-line option) that they decided to add two more options.

Both the Nautique 210 and 230, which measure 21 and 23 feet, respectively, feature a V-hull design. Coupled with the company’s Nautique Surf System (NSS) and Wave Plate, you can create a perfectly shaped wave on either side without having to move ballast. This offers tremendous flexibility for boaters who want to get the most out of their wakesurf, wakeskate and wakeboard rentals.

The Nautique 210 is capable of comfortably seating 12 people, while the slightly larger 230 can accommodate up to 15.

In addition to the standard 1,150-pounds of internal ballast, Nautique upped the ante with its optional Pro Wake/Surf Ballast, which offers an additional 600 pounds for increased wave size.

MasterCraft X30

Similar to Nautique, MasterCraft is a legendary name in the world of towed water sports. And the X30 is the best-selling surfboat in the MasterCraft line.

A high-end tournament-style boat capable of carrying up to 16 passengers, the X30 creates huge wakes and incredible surf waves. As a sign of its versatility, it can also produce remarkably flat wakes for those who want to get in an early-morning slalom session before the lake gets too choppy.
