Multi-day Boat Rental: Live Like a Local While on Vacation
You’ve got your summer vacation rental booked right on Okanagan Lake. The only thing missing is a boat for you to get out and have some fun on the water. Do you haul yours over the mountain passes, or do you look for a company that provides multi-day boat rentals instead? The latter option will give you the complete “live-like-a-local” experience, without the hassle.
Imagine stepping into a brand new, fully gassed MasterCraft XT Series boat that can do it all, including:
- Cruising the shoreline
- Wakeboarding, surfing, and skiing
- Zipping across the lake
Of course, if you’ve rented a lakeshore condo with moorage, you’ll be able to tie up once the day is done…and then do it all over again tomorrow. That’s how the locals do it.
Options for Multi-day Rentals
Boat rental companies like Downtown Marina, located in the heart of Kelowna, offer a range of rental options, including:
- Hourly (1, 4 & 8 hours)
- Daily (3-6 days)
- Longer term (7+ days)
This makes it easy to book a rental based on your needs. The longer the rental period, the better the discount. We have a range of tow boats, pontoons, and Sea-Doos to choose from, as well as non-motorized options like SUPs (Stand-up Paddle Boards) and kayaks. These options allow you to experience Okanagan Lake pretty much any way you want.
Furthermore, when you book a boat rental for a day or more, you get free use of our boat accessories, such as tubes, wakeboards, and skis.
The Convenience of Downtown Moorage
As our name suggests, we’re located where all the action is in downtown Kelowna. If you need a break from playing on the lake, or you want to get out and explore the city on foot, you can arrange temporary Kelowna boat moorage at our marina (starting at 30-minute tie-ups) so you can:
- Catch a bite to eat in one of Kelowna’s many excellent restaurants
- Shop along the Bernard Avenue corridor
- Relax in the shade in City Park
Before you head back out on the lake, remember to top up your tank at our full-service fuel station and grab any sundries you might need from our convenience store (sunscreen, snacks, and water).

Try Before You Buy
As a popular retirement destination, Kelowna receives a lot of visitors from Alberta and the Lower Mainland who want to check out the area before ultimately making the decision to relocate here for good. We often have clients who will rent a boat for a few days to see which makes and models are a good fit for their lifestyle needs.
